PLANT AND MACHINERY ASSET VALUATIONS
are frequently disregarded by companies who often overlook
the fact that these are their greatest assets rather
than buildings and land. It is quite common to find
that essential Plant & Machinery reflects little
or no value in the company’s books. In the case of sale,
dispute or take over it is essential to establish the
true worth of the assets – and this is very rarely the
value shown on the balance sheet.
EXISTING USE VALUATIONS
are necessary to establish the correct balance sheet
value of a company’s assets. NPM (Pvt.) Limited will
make a thorough physical inspection of the assets involved
and produce a full inventory or plant register. The
effects of depreciation and obsolescence on each asset,
replacement and second hand values and numerous other
relevant factors are then considered. From all this
information the remaining economic working life of each
asset is calculated and the Existing Use Value, (depreciated
value) can be accurately stated. This figure will represent
the true worth of the Plant and Machinery to the owners
or purchasers as part of the overall going concern evaluation.
OPEN MARKET VALUATIONS
are usually required for sale or security purposes.
The last few years have seen a large increase in the
need for accurate market valuations of land, buildings,
plant and machinery. NPM (Pvt.) Limited is well qualified
in this sphere and able to provide reliable Open Market
Valuations (OMV) or Estimated Realisation Price (ERP)
to satisfy the exacting requirements of the Banking
world and other Financial organisations.
PLANT REGISTER VALUATIONS
are useful to form the basis of a Company’s ongoing
evaluation of its assets. Plant items can be tagged
for identification purposes with a detailed description
of the machine, its accessories and tools being entered
into a register, along with their appropriate values.
Such a valuation can be supplied in a conventional format
or on computers disks. |
